Discovery Camp at Turtle Bay: Exploring Creativity Through Science
Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a 300-acre educational gathering place featuring the Sundial Bridge, a museum, forestry & wildlife center, arboretum and botanical gardens at the gateway to the Sacramento River Trails. Through the ASTC Creativity Grant program, Turtle Bay will host one session of spring break camp “Weird Science” and three sessions of summer break camp “Nanoscience: Too Small to See”, “Junior Naturalists”, and “Aquatic Explorers” for children ages 7-10. Ultimately, Discovery Camps will inspire 64 campers to continue to explore the intersections of science and creativity.
