Orlando Science Center, Inc.
The Orlando Science Center will host eight Young Maker Workshops for underserved audiences. Workshops guide students through the process of building their own DIY take-home projects. Designed for children ages 8 through 14, Young Maker Workshops teach children the technical skills they need to create a functioning project based on their own creative ideas. Young makers will have the opportunity to learn new skills, make a variety of projects, and collaborate with other makers their own age. Past projects have included e-textiles, circuit building, soldering, Arduino programming, and more.
