North Museum of Nature and Science

STEM Sisters Curiosity Quest is a half-day program that encourages creativity and critical thinking skills through four of the components of creativity identified by the Center for Childhood Creativity. Participants spend one hour completing activities including a 3D Printer training, navigating a STEM Obstacle Course, joining millions of students worldwide in completing the Hour of Code, and creating a Rube Goldberg Machine. The Curiosity Quest is a new event that will be added to programming for the North Museum’s STEM Sister movement which empowers girls in grades 6-12 with information on STEM and connects them with women in STEM fields.
