Harvard Museums of Science and Culture
Come meet some spider superheroes. They can jump huge distances, weave intricate webs, live underwater, change colors, or be mistaken for jewels. Forget your fears as you explore the fascinating ways spiders live. Leave with a self-designed superhero spider. This program will combine the riches of museum collections with the creative vision of participants. Students will work with Artist/Scientist Sarah Kariko of Gossamer Labs and Museum Educator Wendy Derjue-Holzer to explore this intersection of art and science.
