Children’s Science Center
The Tinker Shop at the Children’s Science Center’s Lab will introduce three new hands-on STEM experiences: Electronic Circuits, Robotics, and 3D printer programming. Electronic Circuits will use engaging interactive kits that facilitate children’s learning about electricity and circuitry. Robotics will provide visitors with opportunities to design, build and program a robot. 3D printing will introduce children to the programming, operation and product output of a 3D printer. These experiences will encourage visitors to expand their creativity through “tinkering” of these concepts, both during their visits to the Lab and through independent exploration.
